History

Effectory was founded in 1996 by Arne Barends and Guido Heezen, both graduates of Nijenrode University. Their goal was to build Europe's leading survey research provider. Today, Arne and Guido continue to be involved in all aspects of organisational leadership. The original survey was performed on the staff of a small bank. Its success lead many clients in the financial services industry to make the switch to Effectory. Today, Effectory operates across Europe and increasingly further afield through our clients global operations.

In the 19 years that Effectory has been in operation, we have developed and refined the industry's most advanced practice, and we have actively built a normative database, second to none. In addition to client benchmarks, Effectory also offers an independent pan European benchmark via our annual 'European Motivation Index' study.

In 2009 Effectory entered into a strategic partnership with Veritas to advance scientific research into employee attitudes and to jointly develop services that better address the needs of major employers.
