Acting on the results of the employee survey – Monitoring actions

More and more we're seeing that organisations are leaving the 'acting on the results' part of an employee survey to teams. The teams discuss the results and decide together what they want to work on, as well as how they will do it.

This is of course a good thing, although there are several questions such as:

  • How can you monitor the situation on a central level?
  • Do all teams really take on their responsibilities?
  • Which teams might need some motivation or help?
  • Which teams are good examples for others?

The questions above have often been posed to us by larger organisations. In order to address these issues, Effectory has created an option whereby organisations can monitor the progress of actions in Result & Action (both on the Extranet and in the app).

Creating an action plan

Within Result & Action every team has the ability to register its actions, which are also easily shared. An advantage of this workflow is that if every team does this in the same way and in the same place, everyone within the organisation will be speaking the same 'language'. In addition to this, higher management will also be able to monitor the teams' progress.

After developing it, we believe that it can be a useful environment for teams to manage their own action plans.

Monitoring progress of actions

An overview will enable you to see, at a glance, how many actions have been created within a team, and the percentage of these actions that have been completed. In practical terms this enables you to easily monitor the teams, and you can motivate the teams to register the agreed upon actions.
