Summer always brings a different rhythm to the office, doesn’t it? Half the desks are empty, the parking lot is never full, our inboxes are filled with an abundance of out-of-office email replies. Some days it feels like everyone is off on vacation or just working shorter hours to catch those late sunsets.
Some forward-thinking companies have even embraced this rhythm by giving their employees a bit more flexibility during these months, like endorsing a 4-day working week, or even asking employees to shut down laptops by 3 PM. Because while work matters, sometimes, you should just make the most of the warm season. And let’s be honest, who wouldn’t appreciate some extra hours with their toes in the sand?
But as August winds down, the pace inevitably changes. Those easy-going summer moments will soon become memories, and our attention shifts to the goals that we want to reach by the end of the year. For those in HR, the task is clear: guide teams back to full productivity.

Did you know that World-class Workplaces have 21% higher productivity, 50% more applicants, and 13% more engagement? Those are not just impressive figures – they paint a picture of the positive atmospheres these organizations build for their people.
So, as summer wraps up, it’s the right time to evaluate if your organization is truly a World-class Workplace. Is it performing at its peak? Are your teams feeling motivated and valued? Your employees have the answers.
The World-class Workplace Scan is like an end-of-year health check, offering insights into your organization’s wellbeing. A score above the benchmark earns you the World-class Workplace label, highlighting your dedication and standing as an exceptional employer in the talent market.
And of course, every achievement deserves recognition. So why not aim for the stars? Perform the World-class Workplace Scan, and if your organization stands out, we’ll be raising our glasses to your success at our next event!

We all know that organizing physical events often comes with an environmental cost. But this year, we put our heads together and embedded sustainability in every single aspect of our World-class Workplace event. The result? An unforgettable event that we’re genuinely proud of!
We’re eagerly looking forward to our next edition and we’d love for you to join us!

Good news! Managing your surveys is now much easier. As of today, users can assign, adjust, or remove access from coordinators to specific groups within a survey. What does this mean for you? More control and flexibility! This new feature allows you to view and manage result settings for each survey – even after it’s been launched. Look out for the ‘Result Settings’ option that pops up once your survey is underway.
With this update, you can easily handle role management right at the survey level. To learn more, check out our support page.
My Effectory is the platform where only coordinators and managers can view the results and download reports.
My Feedback is for every employee who has been invited to a survey. Here, they can view their own answers and compare them to the rest of their team, organization, and/or benchmark.
When you hear “Barbie,” what comes to mind? Chances are, a blonde, white doll with perfect skin, hair, and body. But times have changed, and so has Barbie.
The doll’s evolution into a representation of global diversity goes beyond aesthetics. While the reimagined Barbie breaks past stereotypes, Mattel, the company behind Barbie, is listening to their people and fostering a genuine culture of diversity and inclusion (DE&I). However, Mattel recognizes there’s still room for improvement, especially among their top leaders.
Through Barbie’s transformation and Mattel’s commitment to DE&I, the message is loud and clear: employee listening, adaptability, and inclusivity are not just trends, but must-haves. If an iconic brand like Barbie can redefine its image, it’s a call to action for all to move with the changing tides of society.
